These terms are an agreement between you and Throughline ("we") for using Throughline. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Our privacy notice, cookie policy and refund policy are part of these terms.

What Throughline is

Throughline is a resume checker, resume builder and resume tailoring tool for job seekers. It shows how well your resume matches a job post and helps you improve it. It gives advice only. It does not guarantee interviews or jobs, and it cannot promise how an employer or their applicant tracking system will read your resume.

Accounts

You can check your resume without an account. To tailor, save or download resumes you sign in with Google or with a code sent to your email. You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission. Keep access to your email and Google account safe, since anyone with it can sign in as you. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

Credits, prices and payments

• One credit makes one resume tailored to one job. Each new account receives 3 free credits once.
• Credits do not expire, have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account.
• Credit packs add to the credits already in your account. They do not unlock a different version of the service, and there is no subscription.
• Paid packs are not on sale yet. Prices shown on the pricing page are planned and may change before purchases open.
• Joining the launch email list does not reserve a pack or charge you. When purchases open, PayMongo will handle checkout.

Credit-back guarantee and refunds

If a tailored resume's match score does not improve, or tailoring fails, the credit is returned automatically. For mistaken charges and other refunds, see our refund policy.

Your content

You retain rights in the resume and other content you create. You allow us to process content you submit to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy notice. Tailored resumes are available for 30 days, and built resumes stay until you delete them or your account. We do not store your original upload or the job post text on our server. Temporary copies may remain in your browser, as our cookie policy explains. Only upload content you have the right to use, and avoid putting other people's personal data in it.

AI-written text

Tips, tailored resumes, Polish, cover letters and interview prep are written with the help of AI. AI can make mistakes. Read everything before you use it, and keep only what is accurate and true about you. We flag job post terms we added that were not in your original resume, and you must confirm them before downloading. You are responsible for what you send to employers.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• use Throughline for anything unlawful, or to create false or misleading documents about yourself or anyone else;
• upload content that is not yours to share, or that contains malware;
• scrape the site, send automated requests, or try to get around its limits, bot checks or payments; or
• try to break, overload or gain access to parts of the service or other people's data that are not yours.

Our content

The site, its design, scoring rules, guides and blog posts belong to us. You may use them for your own job search and share links to them, but not copy or resell them.

Job listings and other websites

Job listings and some links lead to other websites. We do not run them and are not responsible for their content, their job posts or how they handle your data. Check an employer before you send them personal information or money. A real employer will never ask you to pay to apply.

Availability, changes and ending your use

We work to keep Throughline running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or stop features. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close a paid feature for good, we will refund credits you bought and have not used. You can stop using Throughline and delete your account at any time.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as missed job opportunities, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under Philippine law, including the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394).

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If something goes wrong, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. Otherwise, disputes go to the proper courts of the Philippines.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page before new terms take effect. If you keep using Throughline after that, the new terms apply.
